The idea behind the museum / library is that Bimbadeen has a lot of history attached to it. Bimbadeen started out as a hospital for the town of Cootamundra and became an Aboriginal girls home, then the Aboriginal Evangelical Fellowship took out a 99 lease year on the property. It has been used for a bible training centre, had camps, conferences and seminars for Indigenous people.
What we are looking at doing now is building places where history can be shared and stored for future generations, and tell part of the history story of Australia.
This is a special project that is a medium to long term as we seek God for His divine direction and blessing. This project would cost around $150,000.
Bimbadeen will be putting in submissions to government so your prayers would be valued, however if you feel that God is challenging you to give towards this special project that would be greatly appreciated.
If you would like to contribute to the Museum / library project you can send a cheque or money order to Bimbadeen through our contact page. Please indicate if you want to support all or part of the project.
If you are a builder or plumber or landscaper, painter or even a handy man, you may want to offer your service to help complete these projects. Every bit helps.
Bimbadeen board thanks you for your support and contribution to the work and ministry of the Lord.
